He counts Walt Whitman, Gertrude Stein, Jack Kerouac, Bob Dylan and Steve Earle as forebears to his lyric style. tracyshaun reinvents himself with every performance and takes you with him through his songs of self.

Background

tracyshaun studied poetry & Buddhism at Naropa University and is a veteran of internet start-ups since ‘98. Out of much writing and early performance art, he has reignited and reinvented himself and his music in 2008. Having played guitar since a teenager, he has finally come into his own as a singer and songwriter this year. He is hard at work on his 2nd EP. His first EP, "be where you will" has received outstanding anecdotal reviews. He currently plays in and around the Marin county and San Francisco bay areas.
